From the info for Error Code 2000 page it appears to me this installlation procedure is designed for Windows 10- I have Windows 7 and it doesn't seem to me it was tested well for Windows 7- https://support.topazlabs.com/hc/en-us/articles/213145888
I"m afraid Topaz has recently devoted all of their resources to Topaz Studio and has let bugs/problems with the plugins go by the wayside.
