Texture Effects 2 Crashes My Mac

I enter Topaz via Lightroom (Photo/Edit In menu item). Twice yesterday after applying a texture and clicking on the lower right button to save the image, my entire system crashed. Not just Topaz, the entire SYSTEM! It shuts down, then initiates a reboot. When Lightroom restarts, the saved image that should be back in Lightroom appears as only half of an image, i.e., it shows the top part of the image with the texture, but the bottom is completely gone (see attachment, middle image on bottom row). When Topaz starts up again the image is nowhere to be found. I love this product, but not a particularly happy camper at the moment. Other Mac details: 3.2GHz processor, 32GB memory, AMD Radeon R9 M380 2048 MB Graphics card.
