I have just downloaded the 2 New Updates for Adjust v5.2 and Simplify v.4.2 on my iMac.
I use OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan and Photoshop Extended CS6.I usually select my image and right click on it to select opening it with Photoshop. After my image opens I go to the filter menu and under Topaz select which Plugins from the list that I want to use.
When opening an image this way in the past with both of the previous versions of Adjust and Simplify they were available on the Topaz filter list to select and use. I have found that after the new installations of the new version's of Adjust &Simplify... They do not show up in the Topaz plugin list under the filter menu using this method of opening an image?
I thought I had an issue with the new updates.... and maybe still do? But I decided to try opening Photoshop first then under the file menu open the image. The image opened and both the new Adjust v.5.2 and Simplify v.4.2 Updates were available and showed up under the Filter _Topaz _Plugins menu and I was able to use them?
They both worked fine as I followed @JoeFedric-TL suggestion of not deleting the previous version's before installing the new Updates so the new version's would carry-over any of my created presets... which they did.
Is this a bug or part of the new Topaz setup using their plugins with Photoshop CS6?
I hope this helps any other Mac user but would also like to know if any other Mac user or the Topaz Team or @JoeFedric-TL has come across this same issue?
Thanks, john
