I'm not sure how many others would use this feature, but I would very much welcome the ability to completely disable Impression's gaps in paint coverage. If I'm not mistaken, the paint gaps can be placated to some degree with the coverage slider. That said, there seems to be several presets that still leave moderate paint gaps even with coverage set at 1.00.

Now with that said, I'm guessing that the paint coverage gaps result from the original scanned brush strokes, the algorithms used to apply them, or a combination of both. If I'm correct, I could see the ability to turn them off being very difficult to implement.

If my difficulty suspicions are correct, then having something like a "paint gap overlay view" would be quite useful. Basically, an overlay where gaps in paint coverage are highlighted in a bright color. This would allow us to see if there are paint gaps in areas of significantly different colors and therefore whether changing the background color will address all of the gaps or only some of them.
