Hi all - I have a lot of textures already stored on my QNAP NAS. I have just upgraded my graphics card to run Texture Effects and successfully installed it on my D Drive (my C; is a 180GB SSD and not enough space to put it there)
Only problem is I don't seem to be able to import my textures from my NAS to the Texture Effects program on my D: - it lets me go and find them but it has sat there for an hour with an install window open and installed NOTHING. It was for about 70 textures so now I am testing it with just one and it is still sitting at 0/1 copying.
I do not have any issues with pulling files back and forward across the network on a day to day basis but I wonder if TE has issues with a NAS like LR does? Im running Win 7 Home Prem on an i7 with 24Gb mem and a new GT730 gigabyte graphics card on a desktop with 2x 180GB SSD Raid 1 C: and 2 x 500GB SATA D: Raid 1 and NAS with 2 x 2TB RAID 1 as well.
Help would be much appreciated
