Impression should support alpha/transparency information when sampling color. So that the overall opacity of a brush stroke is modulated by the transparency of it's color information.
This would allow compositing an image with transparency information on top of another with a natural transition. Right now it just retains the original alpha information, which doesn't fit the generated paint strokes at all.
