Suggestion for TE: mark favorites

Back again... I previously created the suggestion that because choosing from 500 textures in a 3x3 panel isn't effective, and a better viewing environment is needed. Now I'm back again, after still struggling to choose a texture.

As I painfully went thru each texture, rolling over it one by one, (which would not be necessary if we could see larger and more textures on the screen at one time) I also discovered that there is no way to mark individual textures as favorites, or to flag them somehow.

As it is now, I'm forced into making screen shots of the textures I like, and then review them, making sure I've also included the 3x3 window and thumb position to try to find them again once I've chosen.

Look: the reality of creating textured images is that we have hundreds of textures; we go through them and find several, maybe a dozen or so, that we think will work with the image. As it is now, there is NO way to mark those as selections, to be able to see them one after the other, and whittle down the choices, when I'm adding in my own textures from that dinky 3x3 patch of nine 1" images. The file names are not displayed; there is no "flag this"; no rate this n-stars; no add to temporary collection.

All of this is further aggravated by the fact that the thumb in the little texture window does not move one page at a time (which would at least simplify seeing all the textures one screen at a time) but instead takes you to the proportional location - skipping over any textures in between. That means that with many textures, the only way to see them all is to very carefully, making minute movements of the mouse, scroll the thumbnails in the 3x3 box, being careful to not scroll off the last row. Tedious, to say the least.

No offense, but has anyone at Topaz actually tried using TE with hundreds of imported textures? While it works when only a few textures are involved, it's simply not ready for prime-time when more are used.

A lot of thought has apparently gone into the rest of this software, but it completely falls flat when it comes to asset management. This makes it almost unusable in a professional environment.

PLEASE get this sorted out !
